[[In the forest in the eastern outskirts of town, Sokka wakes up with a minor freakout. He certainly had not gone to bed wearing these clothes (honestly, who in the four nations even wore white?), not to mention that the clothes he had been wearing are right next to him. There is a major pain in his back that no amount of stretching would make go away. And lastly, when he reaches up to pull Boomerang out, it isn't there.

Somewhere in the back of his head, he certainly feels wings where his club and boomerang should have been instead, but the loss of Boomerang is definitely the most pressing detail of this awkward awakening for at least a full minute.

Thus begins a very frantic search of the surrounding area to find said boomerang, but all he finds of note is a rather peculiar book lying beneath his folded clothing. He reaches down to examine the book and as he opened it to the front, starts pressing a few buttons almost randomly.]]

[Voice]

[[There are a few seconds of pause as he investigates it, before the wings dawn upon him.]]

Wait... wings? Oh, ha ha, Aang! Okay, okay, I'm sorry for being jealous and making fun of you and Katara for flying around together on your little air glider thingy going swooooooooosh swooooooooooosh. Now will you please get over here and take these wi--

[[Sokka looks up and sees a bird perched in a tree overhead.]]

Oh you are so lucky that I don't have Boomerang with me, flying meat. Otherwise, you would be breakfast.

[[The sound of some bird can be heard over the journal.]]

Huh, it can talk. [[suddenly screaming]] IT CAN TALK! THE DEMON BIRD CAN TALK! Aaaaaaahhhhhhh--

[[The entry ends abruptly as Sokka accidentally hits the Post button as he closes the book and runs.]]

Oh I'm so glad that you're here in Luceti!

[Your food tastes are pretty easy to predict]

I'm sure you are. What have you been told so far?

[He can't say that he is particularly pleased about being in Luceti these days, especially after both himself and Zuko being tortured not that long ago]

[ Sokka doesn't know quite how bad Luceti is just yet, not to mention about the kidnappings, though he will in very short order when Zuko gets there. Even if he had, Sokka has a bad case of foot-in-mouth disease sometimes. ]

To be honest, I don't think I know all that much yet about this place.

Luceti is this really weird place where people from all over are brought and kept here. Several people from our world are here, namely Aang, Zuko, Katara, and me, but there are people FROM THE FUTURE here, and one of them is Aang's granddaughter, which is really weird since Aang isn't old enough to even have kids of his own yet, while the other is someone who I don't know anything about yet. I was here before, which is also weird and spooky because I don't remember it, but apparently it was also an older me, and I don't know exactly how that could have happened, but maybe that's why I don't have memories of coming here before? Aang wouldn't tell me how Katara was doing, but he said Zuko will explain that to me when he gets here. I think Boomerang should be in the weapon shop, so I'll have to go to that. Also the animals talk here, but some people tell me that I should be really worried about them while others tell me I'm fine, so I don't know exactly what to think.

[Iroh listens carefully as Sokka says quite a mouthful]

Well, that is a good start. Once you arrive at the house we will fill you in some more. It will take a bit of time to get you up to date, and even longer to get accustomed to some things, but I am confident you will manage.
