Rude Awakening | [Voice]
[[In the forest in the eastern outskirts of town, Sokka wakes up with a minor freakout. He certainly had not gone to bed wearing these clothes (honestly, who in the four nations even wore white?), not to mention that the clothes he had been wearing are right next to him. There is a major pain in his back that no amount of stretching would make go away. And lastly, when he reaches up to pull Boomerang out, it isn't there.
Somewhere in the back of his head, he certainly feels wings where his club and boomerang should have been instead, but the loss of Boomerang is definitely the most pressing detail of this awkward awakening for at least a full minute.
Thus begins a very frantic search of the surrounding area to find said boomerang, but all he finds of note is a rather peculiar book lying beneath his folded clothing. He reaches down to examine the book and as he opened it to the front, starts pressing a few buttons almost randomly.]]
[Voice]
[[There are a few seconds of pause as he investigates it, before the wings dawn upon him.]]
Wait... wings? Oh, ha ha, Aang! Okay, okay, I'm sorry for being jealous and making fun of you and Katara for flying around together on your little air glider thingy going swooooooooosh swooooooooooosh. Now will you please get over here and take these wi--
[[Sokka looks up and sees a bird perched in a tree overhead.]]
Oh you are so lucky that I don't have Boomerang with me, flying meat. Otherwise, you would be breakfast.
[[The sound of some bird can be heard over the journal.]]
Huh, it can talk. [[suddenly screaming]] IT CAN TALK! THE DEMON BIRD CAN TALK! Aaaaaaahhhhhhh--
[[The entry ends abruptly as Sokka accidentally hits the Post button as he closes the book and runs.]]

[Action]
You can't.
Nobody knows where they take people when they're kidnapped.
[Action]
She's got to be someplace though. It's just a matter of where. [[As if Sokka even knew which way he was going just a few seconds prior.]] I can't just sit around if she's in danger; she's my sister!
[Action]
[Zuko snaps as he says this. His tone being very angry all of the sudden. Probably of a result of his own frustration when they had taken his uncle, and THEN him.]
They do this to everyone! And even if you did find her, there's no way you could fight their droids!
[Action]
Everyone?
But why? Why do they take people? Why are we even here?
[Action]
They experiment on us, but she'll be back eventually.
[Action]
They what? [[Yeah, it was the truth, but it wasn't helping Sokka suppress his sister-saving instincts.]] Okay, okay, let me get this straight. These... space people here pull us into their world, and THEN they kidnap some of us every now and again... only to let us go?
I'd say that they're as crazy as your sister, except at least she wasn't stupid enough to free her captives.
Re: [Action]
[Yeah this place is crazy. Crazy bad.]
[Action]
[ Sokka pauses for a moment though with a thought. ]
Do you remember me being here before, too?
[Action]
[Action]
Why is it always weird magic that does weird things to me?
So where are you and everyone else staying? [ Then, almost with puppy eyes: ] Do you have room for one more?
[Action]
Yeah. Come on.
[And with that Zuko goes to climb up on Appa's head and takes the reins. Waiting until Sokka is up on the bison before having him fly them back to the house.]
[Action]
Sokka smiles slightly at the thought of meeting up with (most of) everyone else, even if this world does seem pretty downright weird and almost terrible. That said, without a word more, he quickly clambers up Appa into the saddle on Appa's back and holds on tightly, ready for the ensuing liftoff.
Lunch and a warm house awaits! Not to mention getting able to check out the village and the surrounding area by air; he's definitely got some exploring to do! ]
